Become a Guest Storyteller

Digital Web Strategist offers marketing professionals with the ability to exercise their knowledge while delivering valuable insight to others. Our platform gives guest storytellers the chance to share their expertise in Digital Marketing, Social Media, Content Marketing, Search Marketing, User Experience, User Engagement, Website Design & Development, and more.

In order to be considered as a guest storyteller we ask that you review and evaluate our criteria. Please do so below and if you feel that guest storytelling is something you would like to pursue than by all means fill out our quick form.

Requirements

Each guest storyteller must be a business or marketing professional. You should work in the field or closely related to the one that you are submitting guest stories within. It’s imperative that your insight and thoughts validate with your actual real life work experience. In addition  to the above, you should adhere to the following pre-requisites:

  • Be passionate about the topic or subject that you are writing around.
  • Provide valuable business or marketing insight that can translate to actions geared towards consumers and small business owners. It can also be geared towards CMOs, CTOs, COOs, CEOs.
  • Maintain relevance with current market trends and patterns.
  • Offer tactical advice, tips, and tricks that can enhance others business potential.
  • Share industry insight in a non-spammy or sales oriented approach.
  • Uphold strong thought leadership and composure.
  • Each guest story should be comprised of no less than 1,000 words.
  • Deliver original content with exclusivity for a period of 30 days.

Storytelling Commitment

At DWS we are keen on consistency and believe it plays a factorial role for all guest storytellers. In order to make our newly forged alliance mutually beneficial for our readers and you we request adherence to the following pre-requisites.

  • Comprise 1 or more guest story per week (minimum of 1 is acceptable).
  • Adhere to web writing standards.
  • Avoid plagiarism at all costs. We want no part of it and neither it’s condoned.
  • All content submitted should be authentic with exclusivity for a period of 30 days. Any content duplication should be prohibited.
  • Engage in social promotion of own content. This can be in the form of a Tweet, Facebook update, or any other social equivalent endeavor.
